Pediatric Dental Care In Kelowna

Okanagan Pediatric Dentistry

The Okanagan’s Trusted Clinic for Pediatric Dental Care

At Okanagan Pediatric Dentistry, we are referral-based, often treating complex or unique cases. Please learn more about making an appointment on our Contact page.

Much of our work takes place in a hospital setting. Dr. Terry Farquhar is one of the few specialists in the Interior who regularly performs dental procedures under general anesthesia at both Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) and Summerland Health Centre (SHC).

Whether your child requires extensive dental care, has high anxiety, or is neurodiverse and needs a more controlled environment, we can help. Please get in touch with your questions or to learn more about the referral process.

Gentle Preparation

Help your child feel at ease by focusing on the positive. Avoid using words like “hurt” or “needle.” Instead, mention they’ll meet friendly people who help kids stay healthy. Bringing a favorite toy or book can also help.

Supportive Environment

Our pediatric team is trained to guide children through unfamiliar experiences. If your child cries or feels anxious—that’s okay. We ask parents to observe quietly while we build trust with your child in our own way.
